DANISH MISSION HOSPITAL

The Danish Mission Hospital (DMH) is a 98-year-old institution providing high quality and affordable or free care to the rural population around Tirukoilur, Tamil Nadu, in Southern India. Originally it was founded and entirely supported by the Danes. Recently, however, it is experiencing a rebirth as a more independent institution.

With generous assistance from Lutheran Partners in Global Ministry and a nearby Indian medical school, Christian Medical College, Vallore, India, the hospital is optimistically looking forward to its second century of service.
