Boarding Homes

LPGM was first introduced to the children who live and study in boarding homes in Tamil Nadu, South India, back in 1996 … Project Education India was born!

The Arcot Lutheran Church and the India Evangelical Lutheran Church live out Christ’s command by providing a place for hundreds of children to live while they are studying and learning in elementary and higher secondary school. This ministry is not new but the social assistance is needed just as much today as when the churches began their outreach more than 100 years ago.

Your sponsorship dollars ensure that a child (from ages 5 – 18) can live at the boarding home, eat healthy meals, live in a safe and secure environment, get tutoring assistance, learn hygiene, be exposed to the love of Jesus Christ, and regularly attend a school where life skills will be learned.
