It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

While many of us prepare for celebrations around Christmas trees, full of good food, cookies and presents, the girls and boys you sponsor in India have also been having Christmas celebrations.

The boarding homes where these students live are Lutheran, so the students’ holidays are also filled with worship, celebration and (of course!) sweet treats!

Here are a few of our favorite photos from past Christmases:

Laddu

Made with cashews, raisins, saffron and cardamom, laddu is a traditional Indian dessert often served on special occasions, such as weddings and holidays.

Thanks to sponsors like you, a special batch of laddu is made for your students!

What to make your own laddu? Here’s a recipe!

Nativity Plays

What would Christmas be without children dressed as angels, shepherds, and a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes? Sometimes Santa even decides to visit!

Dancing the Night Away

What would a celebration be without dancing? These boys and girls know how to have a good time!

You make this possible

Sponsors like you make these celebrations possible! You touch the lives of boys and girls in India each and every day. And when important celebrations like Christmas arrive, you are there to make their days special.

THANK YOU!
