Women in Agroecology Leadership for Conservation (WALC) is a holistic leadership training program for girls. Students learn about farming, nutrition, cooking, health and hygiene, family planning, self-esteem, and a large array of other life skills. When the students complete the program, they receive a scholarship to stay in school for another year. They are also equipped to be leaders in their own villages.
