10th Standard

I live and go to school at Saron Boys' Boarding Home in Tamil Nadu, India. Owned and operated by the Arcot Lutheran Church — an Indian, Dalit-led church body in the state of Tamil Nadu — Saron serves about 300 boys between first and 12th Standard.

My favorite activity is playing a musical instrument (or instruments). Many boarding homes offer classes for students to learn wind instruments, string instruments (such as violin), piano/keyboard, or other musical instruments.

I come from a marginalized class in the Indian Caste system. "Other Backward Class" is a collective term used by the Government of India to classify castes which are educationally or socially disadvantaged. It is one of several official classifications of the population of India, along with Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (SCs and STs). [via Wikipedia]
