Bethlehem Lutheran Twin Cities 50 Student Challenge

Bethlehem's Building a Future With Hope capital campaign made a grant of $24,000 to support 50 students for one year. We are incredibly grateful to the committee's generous gesture on behalf of the people of Bethlehem Lutheran Church Twin Cities. But the team didn't stop there. You can help continue this generosity!

Since mid-October there have been posters around Bethlehem's campuses showing the beautiful faces of girls and boys who are currently being sponsored by the capital campaign grant. The grant support ends on December 31, 2023.

Already chosen a student to sponsor?

Scan the QR code on the back of the student's prayer card to get started. That will bring you to that specific student's online profile. Simply click "Sponsor Me" to begin!

Online registration not for you?

We are here to help you. Call our office at 612.823.5058 for assistance in how to get started with the student you have chosen to support.

Get to know, encourage, and love a student who needs what you can provide - for $40/month or $480/year, their life will be transformed. This will, no doubt, have a ripple effect to their family and community, too.

How to Sponsor at the Posters

#1 Choose a student

There are posters in Minneapolis and in Minnetonka with the beautiful faces of the 50 students who are sponsored in 2023. These students need to be sponsored by individuals, couples, families, book groups, small groups, or another organization to ensure their continued access to quality education.

#2 Find that student's prayer card

On the middle of each poster you will find a pocket with student prayer cards. Find a student that you'd like to sponsor.

#3 Complete the YES I WANT TO SPONSOR card

Attached to the prayer card is a small card where you will put your name, email address and phone number.

If you accidentally took this card home, just visit the posters on a Sunday morning with any slip of paper that contains your name, your email address and phone number. That's what we need to get things rolling.

#4 Put the "sponsor" card in the pocket at the top of the poster

Put your completed information card in the small pocket in the upper right corner of the poster.

This is how you tell LPGM that you want to sponsor a specific student or students.

#5 Place the I HAVE A NEW SPONSOR sticker on the student's photo

A green sticker will identify to others that this student has a "new" sponsor - YOU! Put that sticker on the student's photo to announce that he/she is sponsored!

We have additional stickers if you accidentally take it home.

#6 Take the student's prayer card home.

Once LPGM has obtained the small card with your name, email and phone contact points, you will be contacted for what happens next. If you are eager to know more about Lutheran Partners in Global Ministry (LPGM), use the link in the botton below.
