Sustaining Neighbors

Sustain your global neighbors and provide education every month

Education is a gift that nobody can take away. It breaks cycles of poverty, illiteracy, malnutrition, child marriage and abuse. Yet too many people face barriers that keep them out of school, or the schools they attend lack the resources they need to thrive.

The good news?

We've created a new monthly giving program that supports basic recurring needs across our partners' programs. Your monthly investment — no matter the size — can provide critical support to empower teachers in the trenches — and to help students stay in school.

Who are you supporting?

When you give to Lutheran Partners in Global Ministry, you support organizational partners who are native to—or have a long history of living and working in—the communities we serve.

These partners speak the local language(s), know the local values and customs, and work within their own systems to create lasting change.

What is the impact of sustaining gifts?

Your sustaining gifts offer security and peace of mind to our hard-working partners—allowing their crucial work to continue. You also boost morale by showing that you believe in their work and trust them to make an impact.

When basic funding needs are met, teacher training and support can be prioritized, thereby enhancing the excellence of the education students receive.

Why join this giving community?

All people are created and loved by God (Genesis 1-2). The grace of God gives us the freedom to see our neighbors all around the world and respond to their needs.

While there are many ways to love our global neighbors, one way to share God's love is to support education and our partners working tirelessly with students at the margins, so that all people have the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.

Why Education?
