Spend time with our partner in Guatemala -- Community Cloud Forest Conservation (CCFC) and the Q'eqchi' Maya students and young women they serve.
Our home base is the campus of CCFC, high in the cloud forest of Alta Verapaz, known for its coffee, lush mountain forests, and eco-tourism.
The days are packed with active learning, sometimes with children in local schools or who come to CCFC for the "Kids and Birds" program. Activities may include hiking, birding, looking for bugs, and exploring ancient caves.
Together, we'll unravel complex issues related to climate change, education, public health, empowering girls and women, and building community.
