On June 26, 2024, LPGM's entire US-based staff hosted a Facebook Live event. In case you missed it, here is a recording of the full event.
The intention of the event was to offer updates on what our tenacious and resilient partners in India, Tanzania, Guatemala, and the Central African Republic (CAR) were up to last year, as they worked tirelessly to provide education to people - especially women and girls - at the margins. We introduced viewers to our new staff members, Shannon Mahedy and Vishwa Varia, and we said goodbye to our beloved managing director, Naomi Staruch, as she transitions out of her role at LPGM and begins her retirement journey.
While the work is never done, it's important to pause, reflect, and reevaluate each year – and we think our greater community should be included in that reflection process.
